What is Detroit-Style Pizza??
Originating in the 1940's from the Motor City, Detroit-style was born when the auto factory workers brought home the blue steel pan - originally used for parts on the line - and turned them into the perfect pizza pans.
This Sicilian inspired pizza has a THICK and airy, chewy bite and a golden, crispy crust. A special blend of cheeses is spread edge to edge, caramelizing on the sides and creating that legendary crispy crown. BOLD toppings are stacked high. Finally, the sauce is ladled on top, not hidden underneath, creating a full-on flavor explosion in your mouth.
And don't worry... NAPKINS are INCLUDED. It's like a large-round pie packed into an 8x10 space. One of our pizzas easily feeds 2, 3 or more - if you're feeling generous.
